Seminole County Misdemeanor Pretrial Diversion Programs

One way to get your misdemeanor charge dismissed is by completing a Pretrial diversion program. Not every misdemeanor case is eligible for a Pretrial Diversion program.
Seminole County Pretrial Diversion Program For Misdemeanor Charges
This is a deferred prosecution program for selected misdemeanor charges and for selected individuals. This program is offered by the Office of the State Attorney and supervised by Seminole County Community Corrections. Successful completion of the Seminole County Misdemeanor Pretrial Diversion Program will result in the dismissal of your misdemeanor charge(s) by the Office of the State Attorney.
Second Degree Misdemeanor Program Details
- Program length is 6 months
- Program cost is $300
- Pay cost of prosecution to the Office of the State Attorney of $50
- You must perform a minimum of 10 hours of community service
- You will successfully complete any required classes
- You will successfully complete any required evaluation and/or counseling as recommended by the evaluating agency
- You are responsible for any additional costs for classes and/or evaluations and/or counseling

First Degree Misdemeanor Program Details
- Program length is 9 months
- Program cost is $450
- Pay costs of prosecution to the Office of the State Attorney of $50
- You must perform a minimum of 2o hours of community service
- You will successfully complete any required classes
- You will successfully complete any required evaluation and/or counseling as recommended by the evaluating agency
- You are responsible for any additional costs for classes and/or evaluations and/or counseling
